The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs have officially announced the re-signing of two promising young players, Alekolasimi Jones and Cassius Tia, extending their contracts until the end of the 2026 season.

Both players have excelled in the Club's Pathways system over the past few years.

Alekolasimi "AJ" Jones has been part of the Bulldogs Pathways since he was seventeen.

As a dynamic ball-playing forward, he has participated in various competitions, including the SG Ball Cup, Jersey Flegg Cup, and NSW Cup.

Recently, he completed his first pre-season training with the NRL team and, while still eligible for the Jersey Flegg Cup, he has made three appearances in the NSW Cup during 2025.

Cassius Tia, a versatile halfback or five-eighth, was instrumental in the Bulldogs' Jersey Flegg Cup Premiership win in 2024, scoring a crucial try and converting the decisive kick in a narrow 14-12 victory.

In 2025, he has contributed significantly to the NSW Cup side, making seven appearances and showcasing his adaptability by playing in multiple positions, including halfback, centre, and from the interchange bench.
