The Sharks were able to respond with tries from CJ Dickson and Jake Biggs to take a 12-10 lead after 20 minutes.

However, the Bulldogs regained control with two more tries before half-time, leaving the Sharks trailing 24-8.

The Sharks fought back in the second half, scoring two more tries to level the score at 24-24 with 20 minutes remaining.

Unfortunately, a late Bulldogs try put them ahead, and despite another Sharks try, the Bulldogs held on for a 38-30 victory, ending the Sharks' SG Ball season.

Sharks coach Daniel Holdsworth praised his team's efforts but acknowledged that they were simply outplayed by the Bulldogs on the day.

In the Lisa Fiaola final, the Sharks faced the Bulldogs once again.

Despite a spirited performance, the Sharks were unable to overcome their opponents, falling 30-18.

The Bulldogs opened the scoring with two quick tries before the Sharks responded with a try of their own.

However, the Bulldogs continued to dominate, extending their lead to 24-6 at half-time.

The Sharks fought hard in the second half, scoring two more tries to narrow the gap to 24-18.

But the Bulldogs sealed the win with another try, ending the Sharks' Lisa Fiaola finals campaign.

Sharks coach Dave Howell commended his team's resilience and determination but acknowledged the Bulldogs' superior performance on the day.

Overall, it was a disappointing weekend for the Sharks' junior teams, with both the SG Ball and Lisa Fiaola sides falling to the Bulldogs in their respective finals.

Despite the losses, the Sharks' coaches praised their players' effort and commitment throughout the season, with plans to regroup and come back stronger next year.

Coach Holdsworth expressed optimism for the future, stating, "We have some exciting prospects in the program, and with hard work and dedication, we will continue to improve and compete at the highest level."
