Bulldogs captain Stephen Crichton expressed his frustration with teammates Jethro Rinakama and Matt Burton after a critical missed opportunity for a try.
In a tense match against the Raiders, Crichton, fresh off the Origin decider, executed a clever grubber kick behind the defense while his team was down by 18 points during the first half.
Both Burton and Rinakama were positioned well ahead of the lone defender, Xavier Savage, but ultimately failed to secure the ball, which brushed against Rinakama's legs.
This led to an explosive reaction from Crichton, who kicked the ball into the stands in frustration before addressing his teammates.
"Wow Stephen Crichton wound up there," remarked Andrew Voss, as Michael Ennis chimed in, stating: "Stephen Crichton... absolutely filthy, Burton looked certain to get there."
Following the incident, the Raiders were awarded a six-tackle set, marking a pivotal moment after Rinakama also missed a chance to score on the first play by losing the ball over the tryline.
