Bulldogs Sign Kade Dykes for 2026 Season

The Canterbury Bulldogs have officially announced a new signing for the 2026 NRL season, bringing in fullback Kade Dykes from the Cronulla Sharks.

Despite showing promise on the field, Dykes has faced challenges, having only participated in nine NSW Cup matches over the past three years due to various injuries.

At just 23 years old, he suffered an ACL tear during a training session in 2023, which required surgery in 2024 to repair cartilage in the same knee, sidelining him for consecutive seasons.

This season, Dykes' misfortunes continued when he ruptured his patellar tendon in his other knee in April, preventing him from playing for the remainder of the current season.

With limited opportunities behind teammates Liam Ison and William Kennedy at the Sharks, Dykes has now secured a fresh start with the Bulldogs on a one-year contract for the 2026 season.

"We believe that Kade will flourish in the Bulldogs system," said Phil Gould, the GM of Football.
