The Canterbury Bulldogs have reportedly offered a two-year contract to a promising Queensland talent, who has drawn comparisons to NSW Origin utility star Connor Watson.
Since Cameron Ciraldo took over as head coach in 2023, the Bulldogs have transformed from one of the league's weakest teams into serious NRL premiership contenders.
Under Ciraldo's leadership, the club has made several significant signings including Stephen Crichton and Lachlan Galvin, while also addressing their depth and pathways teams.
Looking ahead, the Bulldogs are interested in a young Queensland prospect who has demonstrated impressive potential during his debut season in the QLD Cup with the Norths Devils.
Having gained experience playing against seasoned athletes this year, The Courier-Mail reports that Lauloto Salei has received a two-year contract proposal to join the Canterbury Bulldogs.
Primarily coming off the bench while acclimating to the competition, Salei has recorded 11 tackle busts, 729 running metres, 240.6 post-contact metres, and scored one try in 17 outings for the Devils.
