In a move that has Bulldogs fans cheering from the sidelines, the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs have secured the services of their rising star forward for the foreseeable future.

Lipoi Hopoi, a standout player who made his debut in Round 13 against the Newcastle Knights, has shown immense potential and skill on the field, impressing fans and critics alike.

Hailing from the St George Dragons in the Canterbury Bankstown district, Hopoi has navigated through the ranks, honing his craft in the Harold Matthews Cup, SG Ball Cup, and Jersey Flegg Cup.

His dedication and hard work paid off when he was part of the victorious 2023 Jersey Flegg Cup premiership-winning team.

With six first-grade appearances already under his belt this season, Hopoi has signed on for another two years with the Bulldogs, committing himself to the club until the end of the 2026 NRL season.

This news comes amidst the announcement of Jeral Skelton's departure from the club, as the powerful winger heads to the Wests Tigers on a two-year deal.

As the Bulldogs strengthen their squad for the future, Hopoi's extension signals a promising direction for the team, as they continue to build towards success in the NRL arena.
