The Wests Tigers were left licking their wounds after being outplayed by the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs in the U17s Grand Final, as winger Asha Taumoepeau-Williams stole the show by scoring four spectacular tries.

The Bulldogs made history with a dominant 36-0 victory in the inaugural Westpac Lisa Fiaola Cup Grand Final.

Taumoepeau-Williams, a shining star for the Under 17s girls all season, came into the match with 11 tries under her belt and added four more to her tally in the final.

However, it was hooker Mary-Jane Taito who received the accolades for her crafty plays around the ruck and relentless defensive efforts - earning herself the Player of the Match title.

In a special moment, former dual international Lisa Fiaola presented the match ball to Taito and celebrated with five-eighth Evelyn Roberts, who dazzled with two tries in the game and was crowned Player of the Series.

The Bulldogs' victory will go down in rugby league history as a memorable triumph, leaving the Tigers to regroup and come back stronger for the next challenge.
