The Bulldogs' players have been focusing on their tertiary studies alongside the NRL Telstra Premiership.

Second rower Jacob Preston, who is close to completing a Bachelor's Degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice, was recognized at the Vice-Chancellor's Blues Awards for his academic achievements.

He was among 15 student-athletes honored for their sporting excellence at UNSW, with only 680 individuals receiving this recognition in the award's 60-year history.

The event highlighted the hard work and dedication that the athletes put into both their studies and their sport.

In addition to Preston, young players Blake Wilson and Joseph O'Neill have also made strides in their educational pursuits.

This highlights the Bulldogs' commitment to supporting their players both on and off the field.

The evening also gave athletes the chance to appreciate the collective effort that has contributed to their success, showing the importance of a well-rounded approach to sports and education.

Overall, the Bulldogs are proud of their players' dedication to their tertiary studies and the recognition they have received for their academic achievements.

As the players balance their sporting careers with their education, they serve as role models for future generations of athletes, showcasing the importance of pursuing academic excellence alongside their athletic pursuits.

The Bulldogs' commitment to supporting their players in their educational endeavors reinforces the idea that success in sports is not just about what happens on the field, but also about the dedication and hard work that athletes put into all aspects of their lives.
