The Canterbury Bulldogs have officially announced that newly signed five-eighth Lachlan Galvin will participate in the upcoming King's Birthday public holiday match against the Parramatta Eels on Monday afternoon.
As reported by zerotackle.com, the game is expected to draw around 70,000 fans, marking the Bulldogs' first appearance in nearly three weeks following a bye after their last Thursday game.
Currently atop the NRL ladder, the Bulldogs recently secured Galvin with a three-and-a-half-year deal after he was released from his remaining contract with the Tigers.
His role within the Bulldogs has been somewhat ambiguous, as they have been performing strongly with their existing halves combination of Toby Sexton and Matt Burton.
Despite this, the club confirmed that Galvin, who was included late in the squad for the Eels match, will indeed take to the field.
