As the selection for the opening game of the 2025 State of Origin series approaches, a surprising candidate for the Queensland Maroons is emerging: Canterbury Bulldogs forward Kurt Mann.
Previously named the 19th man for Game 3 of the 2021 series, reports from News Corp highlight Mann as a potential pick by Queensland coach Billy Slater.
