The Canterbury Bulldogs have officially announced a contract extension for Jacob Kiraz and are nearing an agreement with Stephen Crichton.
Kiraz has been with the Bulldogs since 2022, making his NRL debut that same year, and has since accumulated 76 games with the team.
His standout performances over the last two seasons have established him as one of the top wingers in the league, having scored a total of 21 tries in his last 38 matches. This impressive performance placed Kiraz in contention for the State of Origin team; however, an injury derailed his chances for a New South Wales Blues debut this year. Notably, he averages 179 metres per game while also contributing 6 try assists to his scoring record.
Initially signed through 2027, the Bulldogs have upgraded Kiraz's contract and extended it by another year. Now, Kiraz, who has represented Lebanon five times, is contracted to the club until the end of 2028.
This announcement, made during the club's awards night on Monday, also included news of Phil Gould and Cameron Ciraldo extending their contracts until 2031, alongside the impending confirmation of a contract extension for captain Stephen Crichton.
"Stephen has proven himself as an outstanding Captain and one of the competition's truly elite players. We look forward to confirming his future soon," said club chairman Adam Driussi.
