Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs head coach Cameron Ciraldo expressed his admiration for young halfback Lachlan Galvin following his debut performance in Round 1.
The Bulldogs made their way to Las Vegas for the season opener, facing off against the St George Illawarra Dragons in an exhilarating match that went into golden point.
Focus was directed at Galvin and his synergy with halves partner Matt Burton and edge backrower Jacob Preston.
At just 20 years old, the halfback rose to the occasion, showing poise and skill on such a grand platform in the season kick-off.
Ciraldo highlighted Galvin's performance during the post-match press conference, noting the promising trajectory of the young player's development.
"Very proud. I said all pre-season (that) his best ability at the moment is his ability to learn," Ciraldo remarked about Galvin.
