Cameron Ciraldo expressed his frustration regarding the lack of favorable calls from referees, despite acknowledging his team's shortcomings in their 44-12 defeat to the Dolphins during Round 10.
The Bulldogs initially held leads of 8-0 and 12-4, but a sin binning of Jacob Preston for a late shot on Isaiya Katoa marked a turning point, allowing the Dolphins to capitalize and dominate the game, resulting in Ciraldo's team suffering their seventh loss in the last eight matches.
"Disappointed with a lot of parts of it," Ciraldo remarked after the game.
"There's a lot of parts where I saw improvement, but a lot of parts where it was just really poor."
Ciraldo also lamented the disparity in the penalty count against his side.
"That's a tough one to answer, because all the games have been a little bit different, but discipline is hurting us," he stated when reflecting on what has changed since their victory over Penrith.
