The Newcastle Knights have suffered a tough loss on their home turf, falling to the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs with a score of 32-2 at McDonald Jones Stadium.
The Bulldogs were in top form, scoring six tries to leave the Knights scoreless.
Despite the disappointing result, the red and blue will regroup and head to Melbourne next Sunday to take on the Storm at AAMI Park, determined to put up a better fight.
The Knights managed to score early points with a penalty goal, kicked by Hastings from right in front, but it wasn't enough to secure a victory.
It was a tough match, but the Knights are ready to hit back harder in their next game.
