Rugby league enthusiasts were in for a rollercoaster ride of a match, with commentators left dumbfounded by the sheer madness that played out.
On Saturday, fans were on the edge of their seats, yelling at their screens as the Canterbury Bulldogs pipped the New Zealand Warriors in golden point, clinching a nail-biting 13-12 victory.
The game turned into utter bedlam in the closing 15 minutes, with a Bulldogs try disallowed, a Warriors effort falling short, and a Warriors field goal attempt getting blocked.
However, the most pivotal moment arrived with just over three minutes remaining on the clock.
After a Matt Burton bomb was fumbled by Roger Tuivasa-Sheck, the Bulldogs were granted a fresh set only 20 meters from the try line.
They pushed to within 5 meters before Burton lined up to kick the winning goal.
