Bulldogs' Bench: Galvin's Spot or Just a Pup?

Bulldogs make Galvin call

Lachlan Galvin's position is back in the spotlight as he has been named on the bench for the Bulldogs' upcoming match against North Queensland.

This decision follows the team's disappointing performance last week, when they let go of an 18-0 lead against the Broncos.

Reports from au.news.yahoo.com indicate that there is growing discussion about Galvin's ideal role, especially with the confirmation that Toby Sexton and Reed Mahoney will not be with the club next season.

Despite this discourse, coach Cameron Ciraldo continues to believe that the bench is the best place for Galvin at this point in time.

Galvin is expected to enter the game in the halves, which would likely lead to Sexton transitioning to hooker.

The Bulldogs are eager to secure a win after their recent collapse.

They will be bolstered by the return of their Origin players for this match; however, they will be without winger Marcelo Montoya, which allows Enari Tuala to retain his place in the lineup.

On the other hand, the Cowboys are set to showcase all four of their Origin stars, including Reuben Cotter, who is stepping in for John Bateman in the back row.

Additionally, Ben Hunt's return from a hamstring injury has resulted in significant changes for the Broncos, as he has been named at hooker for their match against the Titans.
