The Bulldogs have made a strong start to their inaugural season, winning their second consecutive match by defeating the Wests Tigers 12-8 at Campbelltown.

This victory places them among just three teams in the competition's history to win their first two matches.

With solid support from the forwards, Co-Captain Tayla Preston contributed significantly by putting up a challenging bomb that was fumbled by Terina Te Tamaki, applying pressure on the Tigers.

Despite a turnover resulting from an error by experienced player Holli Wheeler, the Bulldogs' aggressive defense held the Tigers at their 40-meter line, creating another scoring opportunity.

Kalosipani Hopoate made a powerful run, and a quick play of the ball allowed Ebony Prior to score from dummy half against her former team.

Preston's converted kick extended the Bulldogs' lead by 6 points, solidifying their impressive start to the season.
