The City of Canterbury Bankstown has formed a formidable partnership with the Bulldogs to spearhead the fight against litter and inspire residents to take part in Australia's largest clean-up campaign.
As reported by bulldogs.com.au, this ambitious initiative will see over 70 sites in Canterbury-Bankstown specifically targeted by enthusiastic volunteers on Clean Up Australia Day.
These sites include educational institutions, local businesses, picturesque river foreshores, and sprawling parklands.
Joining forces with the community, locals will have the opportunity to get their hands dirty and become part of the clean-up crew at over 30 locations this Sunday, 3 March.
Aiming to surpass last year's impressive effort, during which Canterbury-Bankstown volunteers managed to collect a staggering 80 kilograms of rubbish, this joint endeavor demonstrates the unity and determination synonymous with Rugby League.
By rallying together and tackling litter head-on, both the Council and Bulldogs are hoping to create a cleaner and more sustainable future for the community.
