Wests Tigers fullback Jahream Bula has expressed his readiness to tackle the challenges of his contract year as the club aims to secure his future beyond 2026.

Following an off-season trip to New York with his wife, Aaliyah, Bula returned rejuvenated and focused on what he believes is the "biggest season" of his career.

"You can't hide from it," Bula stated to the Daily Telegraph.

"I feel safe when I'm with my wife and family because I can be myself around them. Their love won't change for me."

With his contract set to expire at the end of 2026, the Tigers are eager to secure the 23-year-old as he stands out among several prominent fullbacks approaching the final years of their contracts.

During his break, Bula trained with sprint coach Roger Fabri, enhancing his speed by four meters over 100 meters and drawing comparisons to some of the NRL's swiftest players.
