In a Rugby League twist, young hooker Blaze Mozer of the Brisbane Broncos has hinted at his future contract plans, drawing comparisons to the legendary Cameron Smith.

Regarded as the future star of the Broncos alongside halfback Coby Black and front-rower Benjamin Te Kura, Mozer, a two-time U19s QLD Maroons rep, will be off-contract at the conclusion of the 2025 season.

Although still playing second fiddle to Billy Walters and Tyson Smoothy for the number nine jersey, Mozer has seen more action on the field this season due to various injuries.

Despite the Broncos' struggles to regain their winning ways from last year, the young gun has been a beacon of hope for the team and is sure to attract a host of potential suitors when the season comes to a close.

Earlier this year, Mozer's roommate and Gold Coast Titans player Keenan Palasia revealed his efforts to lure him to the Titans to play under Des Hasler.

With his talent and potential, Mozer is poised to make a significant impact in the Rugby League world, potentially following in the footsteps of the greats before him.
