Dylan Brown, the five-eighth for the Parramatta Eels, is facing a potential ban following an incident involving referee Gerard Sutton during a recent match against the Canterbury Bulldogs.
Reports from zerotackle.com indicate that Brown has been charged with Grade 2 contrary conduct for the collision that occurred during the 25th minute of the game.
Footage of the incident shows Brown pursuing a kick when he collided with Sutton.
Despite glancing at the referee briefly, he appeared primarily focused on the football, which was descending towards the Canterbury goal line.
As a result of the collision, the referee fell to the ground, raising concerns about Brown's conduct in that moment.
The situation has added to the woes of the Eels, who are already grappling with setbacks following the match.
