NRL Judiciary Update: Brown Enters Plea

LeagueNews.co | Robbie Hamilton

Nathan Brown, a player for the Sydney Roosters, has been cited by the Match Review Committee following their Round 23 match against the Sea Eagles.

Brown has been charged with a Grade 2 Careless High Tackle, specifically for an incident that occurred in the 63rd minute of the game.

The Roosters' official website, roosters.com.au, has reported that Brown has entered an early guilty plea in relation to this charge.

As a result, he will be unavailable for selection in the team's upcoming Round 24 clash with the Dolphins.

It is important to note that if Brown had chosen to contest the charge and found guilty by the judiciary panel, he would have been sidelined for two matches.

However, by taking the early guilty plea, he will only miss one game.

This disciplinary action is in accordance with the rules and regulations of Rugby League.
