'Best in the world': Brown backs Kiwis to continue to rise

Dylan Brown's rugby league season took an unexpected turn as he contributed significantly to the Kiwis' second Pacific Cup title.

After experiencing an inconsistent run in the Parramatta Eels lineup, Brown surged to prominence by earning three consecutive player-of-the-match awards. His performances were pivotal in leading New Zealand to victories against Samoa on two occasions and Tonga, cementing their championship status.

Playing as a five-eighth alongside Kieran Foran in what may be Foran's last rugby league games, Brown excelled within the Kiwi framework, making a strong case for the 2025 Golden Boot award.
