Manly Sea Eagles coach Anthony Seibold has updated the status of five-eighth Luke Brooks, who missed a significant part of the team's training session on Thursday.
Preparing for their upcoming match against the Canterbury Bulldogs on Sunday, Brooks encountered a minor setback due to a hip flexor injury.
However, he is anticipated to be fit to play alongside veteran captain Daly Cherry-Evans in the halves.
Despite missing most of the training, confidence is growing regarding Brooks' availability.
Coach Seibold remarked, "He got a little bit tight through his hip flexor." He noted that Brooks has been working hard over the past four to five weeks, which led the team to give Joey Walsh some reps in the halves during practice.
