A significant opportunity is presented for young Broncos as several players are chosen for the Queensland Under 19 squads ahead of the State of Origin match on June 19 at Sunshine Coast Stadium.

The men's squad includes Coby Black, Jett Bryce, and Phillip Coates, while Reegan Hicks, Amanii Misa, and Shalom Sauaso represent the women's team.

The 20-player men's squad will start training at Caloundra under the guidance of head coach and former Bronco Darius Boyd, alongside assistants Andrew McCullough and Jesse Maclean.

Coby Black, now a Broncos NRL squad member, is set to play in his second Under 19 Origin match after a previous notable performance at halfback during last year's close four-point loss to New South Wales.

Black emphasized that he and his fellow returning players are poised to leverage their past experiences in this upcoming match.
