The Broncos affiliates were in full swing this past weekend, with wingers Jordan Pereira and Josiah Karapani going head-to-head in a Battle of the Broncos on Saturday.
In a display of pure athleticism, Burleigh's Karapani made an impressive six tackle breaks and ran for a whopping 200 metres.
Meanwhile, South Logan's Pereira wasn't far behind, racking up 190m in a valiant effort.
The Bears ultimately came out on top with a 34-16 victory over the Magpies, their affiliate counterparts.
On the Magpie side, prop Ben Te Kura showed his strength with 142 run metres, two line breaks, and 27 tackles in just 47 minutes of play.
Hooker Blake Mozer also made his mark with 39 tackles, a line break assist, and a try assist.
Overall, it was a fierce display of rugby league talent from both teams, with each player giving it their all to secure a win for their side.
