Broncos Help The Dogs Out

The Broncos have come to the aid of some furry friends in need, as three loyal four-legged supporters stole the spotlight at Captain's Run at Red Hill on Friday.

Guide Dogs Narla, Chip, and Unity took center stage alongside players Jordan Riki, Reece Walsh, Billy Walters, Ezra Mam, and Tristan Sailor, gearing up for the upcoming clash with the Raiders and International Guide Dogs Day next week.

In a heartwarming gesture, this week's Round 7 game is dedicated to the 2024 Charity Partner Guide Dogs Queensland, based out of Bald Hills on Brisbane's northside.

With eighty-five percent of their funding coming through donations, every dollar counts towards the hefty $50,000 price tag to train and care for a Guide Dog over its decade-long career.

Not only do these funds make it possible to provide support services for those with low vision and blindness, but they also help to ensure the empowerment of individuals facing vision loss, allowing them to achieve independence, inclusion, and overall well-being.

Through initiatives like the popular 50-50 Charity Raffle, more Guide Dogs can be trained, paving the way for a brighter future for those in need.

It's a true testament to the strong sense of community and support within the rugby league family, as everyone comes together to lend a helping hand, both on and off the field.
