The Brisbane Broncos NRL squad showed their solidarity and support by donning the new Deadly Choices health check shirts during training, demonstrating a powerful sense of unity.

This renewed partnership with the Institute for Urban Indigenous Health (IUIH) marks the club's 13th year of collaboration in promoting preventative health through Deadly Choices.

The unveiling of this year's Health Check shirts at Suncorp Stadium added an extra layer of significance ahead of the Broncos' upcoming clash with the Rabbitohs on Thursday.

Broncos legends and Deadly Choices ambassadors Steve Renouf and Petero Civoniceva, along with NRL great Willie Tonga, were present to witness the team training in these iconic shirts alongside students from the Murri School in Brisbane.

The impact of this partnership is evident in the staggering 4000% increase in 715 Health Checks in South-East Queensland since 2011, showcasing the expansion of Deadly Choices throughout the state.

The personal connection between IUIH's late patron, Aunty Pam Mam, and current Broncos player Ezra Mam further emphasizes the deep-rooted ties between the club and the health initiative.
