The Brisbane Broncos have donated over $200,000 to the Black Dog Institute as part of their Black Jersey initiative, which aimed to raise awareness for mental health.

In a first for Australian sports, the team donned specially designed black jerseys during a Mental Health Round match against the Gold Coast Titans.

This initiative was a collaboration between the Broncos, the Black Dog Institute, and their apparel partner ASICS.

In a significant display of support, major partners of the Broncos, including Kia Australia, National Storage, ASICS, Firstmac, The Star Brisbane, Queens Wharf, and BCF, opted to black out their logos during the event.

The Club's Chairman, Karl Morris, presented a cheque for $200,841 to Colin Moore from the Black Dog Institute at half-time of the Broncos vs.

Sharks game held at Suncorp Stadium.

This amount reflects the funds raised through various initiatives connected with the Mental Health Round.
