In a thrilling Sunday of NRL action, the Broncos, Roosters, and Eels secured crucial victories, contributing to a total of 31 tries and 168 points across the matches.

The Broncos faced an early setback as they trailed the Sharks by 10 points at halftime.

However, with standout performances from Reece Walsh and Kotoni Staggs, the Broncos came roaring back, scoring four second-half tries and electrifying the Suncorp Stadium crowd.

The standings are tight, with only four points separating fifth and 14th place as the competition heads into Round 16.

A win was essential for all teams mired in this logjam, including the Roosters and Cowboys, who were featured in the day's second match.

The Roosters, led by an impressive James Tedesco, dominated the Cowboys, who have now conceded over 100 points in just two weeks.

In the final match of Round 16, the Eels faced the Titans and achieved their fifth win of the season, fueled by exceptional performances from fullback Isaiah Iongi and wingers Zac Lomax and Josh Addo-Carr.

The Titans find themselves struggling at the bottom of the ladder with a 4-10 record as they gear up for a critical Round 17 clash against the equally desperate Cowboys.
