Broncos Struggle with Back-to-Back Losses

The Brisbane Broncos have now experienced a troubling zero and two start to their season, having conceded 40 points at home to the Parramatta Eels on Thursday night.

Despite managing to score points this week after their previous 26-0 defeat to the Penrith Panthers, concerns remain prevalent at Red Hill.

The situation worsened when veteran halfback Adam Reynolds was seen being assisted off the field during the second half, following a powerful tackle from Parramatta's Kitione Kautoga, who had an impressive game, scoring twice for the Eels.

After the game, Reynolds expressed that he was feeling sore and had applied ice to the injury, but he refrained from confirming his availability for next week's grand final rematch in Round 2 against the Melbourne Storm.

Instead, with retirement looming at the end of the season, he assured that he would consult with Brisbane's medical staff over the weekend before any decisions were made.

This injury adds to the tension as coach Michael Maguire has placed his team on notice, stating he will "have a look at each player."

"I'll have a look at the performance," he remarked in the post-match press conference.

"That's what you do as a coach. I'll go back and watch the tape. We performed for 20 minutes, we performed pretty well, but it takes 80 minutes to win a game of footy. So I'll be having a look at each player in the squad."

Maguire, known for his willingness to make changes when players underperform, is ready to implement any necessary adjustments.
