The Brisbane Broncos provided an update on three injured players: Payne Haas, Selwyn Cobbo, and Patrick Carrigan, confirming they are all free of serious injuries.
According to zerotackle.com, Haas has been cleared to play and will be joining the New South Wales Blues in Sydney ahead of Game 1 of the 2025 State of Origin series.
He sustained a quad injury during a recent match against the St George Illawarra Dragons but has been managing the issue for a week or two, as noted by Blues coach Laurie Daley.
Despite suffering a minor tear, Haas will have a reduced preparation leading into the Origin game.
Meanwhile, Carrigan is set to participate in Game 1 after receiving treatment for a split lip overnight.
