In their final Pre-Season Challenge match, the Sea Eagles were left reeling after a 40-14 defeat at the hands of the Broncos.
The Sea Eagles, hoping to make their mark ahead of a big 2024 season, went into the match with an advantage in NRL experience.
However, the weather and the occasion proved too much to handle as the Broncos dominated with a 26-point victory.
Unfortunately for the Sea Eagles, they were unable to secure a Bonus Point, finishing with three tries, four line breaks, and seven offloads, all falling short of their targets.
On a positive note, second-rower Brad Parker crashed over for an early try, showcasing his versatility after a well-timed pass from Jamie Humphreys.
The Sea Eagles added to their tally with an untouched try by Max Lehmann, extending their lead to 10 points.
