The official website of the Brisbane Broncos, broncos.com.au, has reported that champion prop Payne Haas has signed a contract extension that will keep him at the club until the end of the 2026 season.

Haas, a State of Origin front rower and four-time recipient of the Paul Morgan Medal for Broncos Player of the Year, was already signed with Brisbane until 2024, but has now committed to an additional two years.

The 23-year-old recently celebrated his 100th NRL game for the Broncos, achieving remarkable statistics since his debut in 2018.

In his 100 appearances, Haas has averaged an impressive 172 running metres, including 73 post-contact, and 34 tackles per game.

He has also amassed 385 tackle breaks and 113 offloads, all while maintaining a tackle success rate of less than one missed tackle per match.

As a key member of Brisbane's Leadership Group and a graduate of the Broncos Academy, Haas joins a long list of teammates who have also pledged their commitment to the club's future, with contracts extending until at least the end of 2025.

These teammates include Pat Carrigan, Reece Walsh, Kotoni Staggs, Selwyn Cobbo, Kobe Hetherington, Jesse Arthars, Corey Jensen, Deine Mariner, Xavier Willison, Cory Paix, Tristan Sailor, and Blake Mozer.
