Michael Maguire has finally opened up about his team's extraordinary knack for bouncing back from significant deficits, as they once again triumphed over the Storm despite trailing.
Last year in the grand final, the Broncos found themselves down by 12 points against the Storm but managed to snatch victory in the end. In their latest encounter on Friday night, they showcased their resilience, coming from 14-0 down at halftime to secure an 18-14 win.
Since the middle of the previous season, the Broncos have impressively turned around six matches after falling behind by 14 points or more.
This hard-earned victory serves as a significant source of relief for Maguire and the organization, especially after enduring another tumultuous week in the media.
"I'm very proud of my players," Maguire stated.
"We speak about a lot of things and what we want to build and what they're building and this was the next game that came up after a couple of performances that they weren't, and we weren't really proud of and how we went about things."
