Seven Brisbane Broncos players have been chosen to represent the Australian teams in the upcoming 2023 Pacific Championships.

Pat Carrigan, Payne Haas, Thomas Flegler, Kotoni Staggs, and Selwyn Cobbo have all been recognized for their outstanding performances during the Broncos' journey to the Grand Final.

This will be a special moment for Cobbo, Staggs, and Flegler as it marks their first-ever selection for the Green and Gold team.

The Kangaroos, Australia's men's team, will face Samoa at Queensland Country Bank Stadium in Townsville on October 14.

They will then take on New Zealand at AAMI Park in Melbourne on October 28.

These matches promise to be highly anticipated, and the presence of the Broncos players will undoubtedly add to the excitement.

In addition to the men's squad, two Brisbane NRLW stars, Ali Brigginshaw and Julia Robinson, have secured their spots in the Jillaroos squad.

Both players were instrumental in Australia's World Cup victory in England and will now co-captain the Jillaroos side against New Zealand.

The matches will take place at Queensland Country Bank Stadium and AAMI Park, mirroring the Kangaroos' fixtures.

Kangaroos Coach Mal Meninga has extended his congratulations to all the selected players.
