Broncos Face Internal Tensions Amid Struggles

Amidst growing tension at Red Hill, the Brisbane Broncos are reportedly facing internal unrest, raising concerns following the recent World Club Challenge defeat.

After succumbing to Hull KR, the reigning premiers also lost standout player Payne Haas and were subsequently overwhelmed 26-0 at home during their season opener, in front of an energetic crowd.

Broncos icon Gordon Tallis has voiced that there's a brewing conflict within the club, suggesting that coach Maguire is attempting to quiet the dissent.

On NRL360, Tallis discussed the matter, asserting, "Yeah, absolutely... because of the way they're trying to smother it."

In contrast, Maguire appeared unaffected by the swirling rumors, suggesting that scrutiny is simply part of an NRL coach's experience.

"I don't pay too much attention, as coaches everyone wears that at some stage," he remarked.

He added, "My role is to look after my players, my staff and the organisation. If we do that well, look at the outcomes."

When directly addressing Tallis's comments, 'Madge' extended an invitation to critics to observe training sessions firsthand.
