The Brisbane Broncos are eager to secure their second Grand Final appearance in three seasons. While the team boasts numerous star players, it's the diligent effort from hard workers behind the scenes that has propelled them to this week's preliminary final.
A standout in this category is Jaiyden Hunt, who has significantly impacted the Broncos since his move from the St George Illawarra Dragons in 2024.
In recognition of his relentless grit and determination, the Broncos have granted the talented backrower a one-year contract extension, ensuring he remains at Red Hill until at least the end of 2026.
Hunt, a Brisbane local, expressed his excitement about extending his tenure with the Broncos.
"Brisbane is where I grew up, it's my home, so playing for the city where I grew up is really special," Hunt said in a statement.
He acknowledged the team's impressive recent form and committed to contributing his efforts to maintain their momentum.
"We had a couple of injuries, so I've been able to string a couple of games together and it has been during a winning streak, so that's definitely been a good experience," he shared.
