The Brisbane Broncos have issued a strong call for stringent bans against fans after a violent altercation erupted between supporters of the Brisbane and Penrith teams following the Panthers' decisive 26-0 victory at Suncorp Stadium.
According to a report from WWOS, footage that has surfaced online captures a group of three men embroiled in a fight, which subsequently involved additional men and women as fans exited the stadium on Friday evening.
A female supporter of the Broncos can be seen participating in the chaos, kicking a fan of the Panthers while others rushed in to separate those involved in the brawl.
During the melee, one individual attempting to de-escalate the situation could be heard shouting, "Stop, stop, enough, enough."
Additionally, the footage displayed numerous smaller skirmishes igniting in the vicinity, resulting from the initial conflict.
The Broncos organization has condemned such anti-social behavior, asserting that it "will not be tolerated."
The incident has raised serious concerns about fan conduct and the atmosphere at sporting events, prompting calls for greater measures to ensure safety.
