Broncos centre causing a stir in Sydney rumors

A young gun from the Brisbane Broncos has reportedly caught the eye of a Sydney team as he enters contract negotiations for next season.

After making his NRL debut this year, the 22-year-old Josiah Karapani made a solid impact with nine appearances in the top grade.

Starting off with a train and trial deal, Karapani provided valuable depth to the Broncos' backline, stepping up to cover for injured stars like Kotoni Staggs and Selwyn Cobbo.

Now, with his contract situation uncertain for the 2025 season and no extension offer from the Broncos yet, Karapani's future is in doubt.

The Courier Mail has revealed that the Canterbury Bulldogs are circling the talented centre, looking to bolster their squad under coach Cameron Ciraldo.

As the transfer rumors swirl in the rugby league world, Karapani's potential move back to Sydney could shake up the league's outside back landscape and provide the Bulldogs with a fresh attacking option.
