The mighty Broncos are feeling confident as they prepare for the battle of Brisbane, with star fullback Reece Walsh set for a sensational early return to the field.

Originally expected to be sidelined for up to six weeks after a nasty facial injury, Walsh has defied the odds and will don the flashy pink headgear for Friday's derby against the Dolphins.

Coach Kevin Walters is adamant that there is no cause for concern, brushing off worries about Walsh's swift recovery.

Despite facing the Dolphins without key players like Adam Reynolds and Payne Haas, Walters is unfazed and is placing his trust in the young fullback.

"We want to keep his Hollywood career intact, so there's no risk with that," Walters quipped, making light of Walsh's injury scare.

With the green light from the medical team, Walsh is raring to go and eager to make his mark on the field once again.

As they gear up for the showdown, the Broncos are ready to tackle whatever challenges come their way and show their true grit on the field.
