The Brisbane Broncos are set to face the Papua New Guinea Blossoming Orchids in a trial game on June 22 at Suncorp Stadium, ahead of the upcoming NRLW season.
This match will take place before a Round 16 NRL game against the Sharks.
The Broncos initiated their pre-season training last month and have since conducted intensive preparations, including a training camp on the Gold Coast.
Their squad consists of 30 players, blending youth, such as Queensland Under 19 talents Reegan Hicks and Shalom Sauaso, with seasoned players such as Tamika Upton, the 2023 Dally M Medallist.
This trial represents the Broncos' last chance to gauge their performance before the season opener against the Wests Tigers on July 5, at Totally Workwear Stadium.
Paul Dyer, the head of the Broncos NRLW Program, emphasized that the trial game will provide an opportunity to test young players alongside more experienced ones.
