In a recent late-night incident, several Brisbane Broncos players took on Rooster Spencer Leniu after he was accused of using a racial slur during their match.
According to reports by The Sydney Morning Herald, this incident occurred in the early morning when the two teams coincidentally met at the Hilton hotel in Resorts World.
While sharing the same floor, it seems that the altercation was only verbal and did not involve any physical confrontation, as confirmed by both clubs.
It appears that Kotoni Staggs and Spencer Leniu engaged in a heated exchange of words, and Patrick Carrigan expressed his disappointment with the alleged racial slur.
It is worth noting that Leniu was already under scrutiny for a late-game incident where he was put on report after Ezra Mam lodged a complaint with referee Adam Gee regarding a racial slur directed at him.
