Broncos Aim to Upgrade Suncorp Stadium

The Brisbane Broncos are nearing an agreement for an upgrade to their iconic home, Suncorp Stadium, in preparation for the 2032 Olympic Games.

This initiative aims to provide Queensland fans with the best sporting experience in Australia, as the Broncos have consistently attracted outstanding crowds to their 50,000-seat venue.

The club is determined not to let Suncorp fall short as the world's top athletes head to Brisbane for the Olympic event.

The enhancement plans focus not on increasing seating capacity, but rather on elevating the overall viewing experience, expanding facilities, and implementing advanced technology.

According to the Daily Telegraph, the state government is supportive of this upgrade, and the Broncos are engaged in talks with Legends Global, the stadium's operational partner, to finalize agreements.

"We want to invest in the stadium to secure its long-term future," Broncos CEO Dave Donaghy stated.

"It's really important for the members, fans and players to have a high-quality venue.

"We understand some of the budgetary challenges that come with investing into an Olympic Games, but we don't want to see Suncorp left behind.

"We have had preliminary discussions with Legends Global and Harvey Lister (CEO/Chairman) about those opportunities.
