Bronco Says Bye: Veteran Hangs Up Her Boots

The Brisbane Broncos NRLW have finalized their Top 24 roster for the upcoming 2025 season, highlighted by two new signings and the retirement of veteran player Rapana.

According to zerotackle.com, Rapana has played 32 NRLW matches since 2018, as well as 11 matches for the QLD Maroons and one for the Australian Jillaroos.

She is retiring due to medical reasons.

Formerly known as Tazmin Gray, Rapana won a premiership with the Broncos in 2019 and was a finalist in 2018.

Her accolades include being a two-time recipient of the Nellie Doherty Medal as Player of the Women's State of Origin series in 2021 and 2023.

Alongside her retirement, the Broncos announced the signings of rugby union converts Azalleyah Maaka and Kerri Johnson, who have both signed two-year contracts lasting until the end of the 2026 season.
