Injury Update: Kennedy Cherrington

The latest injury blow for the NRLW team has hit hard, with Kennedy Cherrington ruled out for the remainder of the 2024 season.

The representative forward copped a tough LCL (knee) injury during the Round 6 clash against the Dragons, and unfortunately, she won't be back on the field this year.

Adding to the team's woes, Cherrington now joins her sister Rueben Cherrington, who is out with an ankle injury, and Boss Kapua, who is sidelined with a knee injury, in the injury ward for the season.

It's a tough break for the team to lose key players during this crucial part of the season.

To make matters worse, development player Tallara Bamblett is also out for the rest of the year with a hand injury.

It's a tough blow for the young player who was hoping to make her mark on the field this season.

The team will have to regroup and rally together to overcome these setbacks and push through the rest of the season.

As they say in the world of Rugby League, it's not about how hard you hit, but how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward.

The team will need to dig deep and show their fighting spirit to come out stronger on the other side.
