Georgia Bartlett has scored six tries and created eight more in 13 matches for Brisbane this season, and has not missed a tackle in her past three games.
The 22-year-old now faces Sydney Roosters centre Jessica Sergis in Sunday's NRLW grand final, a matchup Bartlett says she welcomes.
"It doesn't get any easier, it truly doesn't," Bartlett told AAP.
"I have got a tough battle this weekend but I am always up for a challenge.
"I am so lucky I get backed up by my teammates and (head coach) Scott Prince and the coaching staff. I wouldn't be up for it without their support.
"If I do my job correctly, the rest should happen."
Bartlett watched Sergis named in the NRLW team of the year at Wednesday's Dally M awards, where Bartlett was a rookie of the year nominee.
Sergis has represented NSW since 2017 and Australia since 2019, and won the 2019 Dally M Medal and Golden Boot.
Bartlett recently helped contain Gold Coast centre Georgia Grey in Brisbane's 20-8 preliminary-final win.
"It is a bit of a weird feeling going up against someone you admire and acknowledge for the work they have done in the women's game but to be up against her is a cool feeling and really exciting," she said.
After beginning her rugby league career two years ago following a background in touch football, Bartlett spent last season developing at Brisbane before earning a two-year deal in the top 24.
She filled in at five-eighth for suspended Ali Brigginshaw for three matches, including a loss to the Roosters, but did not face Sergis.
Bartlett said she valued guidance from Brisbane teammate Julia Robinson, who played centre in two of her four grand final wins.
