Brisbane Broncos' off-season dramas have taken another hit, as star five-eighth, Ezra Mam, found himself in the middle of a car crash and had to be rushed to the hospital overnight.
According to reports from the Daily Telegraph and later confirmed by the club, Mam's car accident occurred on Friday afternoon, sparking concerns for his well-being.
The Broncos have released a statement on the incident and are now delving into the details.
The NRL Integrity Unit has also been called in to investigate further.
"Broncos player Ezra Mam found himself in a bit of a pickle this afternoon in Brisbane," the club statement shared with the media expressed.
"He's currently receiving treatment at the hospital, but it seems like he's only come away with minor injuries at this point."
