London calling: Brimson eyes England debut for reignited Ashes series

AJ Brimson aspires for his 2025 season to conclude with not just his first Paul Broughton Medal, but also an Ashes series triumph to crown what he considers his best season yet.

His focus, however, is on representing the Three Lions, rather than the Kangaroos. This change comes as a tribute to his mother, who is originally from England. Earlier this year, Brimson switched his international allegiance to embrace his British heritage.

With an exciting three-match Test series on the horizon, Brimson is eagerly anticipating a call from Shaun Wane, hoping to hear that he will play in front of a massive crowd of 90,000 at Wembley Stadium next month.

Choosing to leave the versatile player out of the lineup will be a challenging decision; he has excelled in multiple positions, including fullback, five-eighth, and centre throughout the year, all while contending for the Titans' most esteemed individual accolade on Tuesday night.
