Ali Brigginshaw and Tamika Upton have been named co-captains of the Broncos NRLW squad for the 2025 season, marking the first time the club has appointed co-captains in this league.
Together, they bring over 80 NRLW games of experience and a rich history playing alongside each other for the Broncos, Queensland, and Australia.
Upton, who hails from Rockhampton, made her Broncos debut in 2019 and won two premierships with the team before joining the Newcastle Knights.
She returned to the Broncos this season after earning the 2023 Dally M Medal.
Upton expressed her excitement about her new role, stating, "I'm happy to be home" and fully embracing the responsibilities that come with being co-captain.
This season is set to be the longest in the NRLW's history, and Brigginshaw and Upton will lead the team as they navigate the challenges ahead.
